Carbon nanotube textile
These days, when I hear about carbon nanotubes, I think about the space elevator people are trying to build. Could clothing benefit from such a strong material? Now a company, Nanocomp Technologies, has made a sheet of carbon nanotubes. It also conducts electricity so it could protect electronic devices from electromagnetic interference.
